1. Legal Commerce: The Collector Auctions website is designed to facilitate legitimate transactions of legal goods and services.
   • Any use which violates local, state, national or international laws is strictly prohibited.
   • You must be capable of entering a legally binding contract to use this site.
   • Minors should ask their parent or legal guardian to participate on their behalf.

   
   

2. Item Descriptions: Sellers will describe items for sale accurately and thoroughly, including shipping costs and any other terms of sale in the description. The item description is your proposed contract with buyers.

   
   

3. Seller Obligations: Sellers whose items are sold at auction or through classified ads will deliver the items according to the terms set forth in their item description. Except for unmet reserves on auction items, you may not retract your agreement to sell an item to the winning bidder.

   
   

4. Buyer Obligations: Bidders who win auctions or who purchase through the classified ads are expected to pay the seller promptly and in full.
   • Winning an auction constitutes acceptance of all terms set forth in the item description.
   • A bid is a binding offer to purchase an item at a given price and may not be retracted unless the seller changes the description of the item.
   • This is not a game -- you must have the means and intention to honor bids.

   
   

5. Fair Competition: Collector Auctions sponsors fair and competitive auction events among independent bidders. Any activity which is intended to limit or unfairly influence participation of other members is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:
   • Sellers bidding on their own items through secondary accounts or third parties.
   • Bidders cooperating to manipulate the final bid price on an item.
   • Attempts to access other members' accounts or to deny them access to their accounts.
   • Abuse of AuctionRate resulting in unsubstantiated positive or negative ratings.

   
   

6. Commissions and Fees: Sellers are responsible for paying all applicable commissions and fees due to Collector Auctions for the use of our website. Collector Auctions may change these rates at any time without notifying individual members. Current information will always be linked from the Info Booth page.

   
   

7. Disclaimer of Transaction Liability: Transactions conducted through Collector Auctions are the sole responsibility of the buyer and seller involved. Collector Auctions is not liable for disputes over misrepresented items, unpayed winning bids, non-shipment of items, or any other disputes between buyers and sellers.

   
   

8. Disclaimer of Technical Liability: Collector Auctions is not liable for hardware, software or connection problems which affect the outcome of auctions or transaction of sales. We strive to maintain a reliable site, but cannot guarantee against technical errors and malfunctions in our equipment, intermediate Internet connections or members' hardware and software.

   
   

9. Refusal of Service: Collector Auctions reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time and for any reason. This right is not limited by the terms and agreements listed above.
